mewwy chwiiiistmaas, toooo yooooooou
christmas eve i started out finishing up some christmas shopping. i know i know. pretty lame to be shopping on christmas eve, but if you read the last post, that hell ended a few days before that, and whatever i didn't get before those 3 weeks, the i only had a couple days before christmas. blah blah blah... so i did a little shopping, and went to the GF's house to spend the evening with er family. it was pretty nice. good food, good company, and yes-we actually sang christmas carols. that's a first for me. hopefully the last. but who knows...
at about 8pm, i shot to my parent's house and spent the rest of the evening with my dad's side of the family there. it was nice. good food, good company, and we played white elephant. i don't know why it's called that, all i know is i forgot about it so i regifted a christmas mug with some candy in it. :)
spent the night there in the family room with my sisters (kind of a tradition) then did stockings and gifts with the 'rents and sisters that morning. oh ya, and i gotta put a little plug for those TV'holics out there. Yule Log - ch. 6. it's great. moving right along then. After breakfast we went to go see Oceans 12 with the tegners (another christmas tradition) and then went back to their house for Chili and Cornbread (ya, another tradition). that does it for christmas.
the day after christmas was a sunday. that means i have to work. that means that my mom's side of the family was having their party when i had to work. no problem, i just showed up at 3, left at 4. then came back at 8:30. worked out alright. got a cool fleece. and a webcam.
